Dreamworks

Last night, Blake and I watched Megamind, a somewhat new movie from Dreamworks.  From the trailer, I thought it would be a pretty weird movie, but it was a great story and very clever.  I was laughing half the time and on the edge of my seat when the leading lady almost fell off a building.

Anyone looking for a great family movie, check out Megamind.  You'll love it!

Check out some of the great quotes from the movie here.

I just want to say, I am so grateful for companies who make movies that are good family movies: no swearing, no filth, no promiscuity, good morals.  Thank you movie producers, thank you!

Home Sweet Home

Searching for an apartment is SO difficult.  Every apartment we looked at was either really dirty or next door to a smoker or someone who plays rap music so loud that it shakes the house or is so far away from the school that we'll be spending tons of money on gas.  Nothing has seemed to fit and nothing has felt right.

Until....

Blake came up with a genius plan.... We're going to stay right here in the apartment we already live in.  It's a little more expensive than we wanted, but look at all the benefits of staying.

1. We don't have to pack up all our stuff and move... again.
2. The area is really safe and our neighbors do not smoke or play loud rap music.
3.  We get to stay in the same ward with all these great people with whom we have become friends.
4. We get to keep our callings in our ward, and I am really enjoying working in Primary.
5.  We have a nice yard that Wade will be able to safely run around on this summer.
6.  Did I mention the part about not having to pack up and move all our stuff.... again.

The pros of staying here definitely outweigh the cons, and it just feels right.
Nevertheless, I'm grateful for all the hard work Blake and I put in trying to find a better apartment so that now we know for certain that we've got a pretty sweet deal.
I guess the only thing left to say is Welcome Home, Plumb Family, Welcome Home!
